Passed out!
Jonah had a super short nap yesterday afternoon, but didn't seem the least bit tired. So at dinner time I heated up his food, sat down to feed him, looked down at his bowl to get the first spoonful ready and when I looked up he was like this. I was like 'Are you sleeping?!!?' hahaha. Poor little guy, I put him in his crib for a catnap and 30 min later we started where we left off.

First Haircut
Jonah's hair was so long and in his face more and more that I decided it was time for his first haircut. I really wanted to wait till he was closer to 1 yr old, but with more and more people telling me how 'pretty she is' I thought it might be time to get it cut. So we went on Valentine's Day :)
Two of my friends recommended Cartoon Cuts at the Columbia Mall. They have a 'First haircut' thing, where you get a certificate and a small bag for their hair. Its cute and a nice keepsake. Plus, they are smart and each station has a little TV playing cartoons, so the kids are distracted and more likely to sit still.
He did AMAZING! for being 7mos old. He only fussed when she spritzed his hair with water and then at the end for about 10 seconds. But OMG..I'm so sad, he looks like a little boy and not a baby anymore!!! :( Plus, I knew his hair was getting lighter, but it is SO LIGHT now. All that beautiful dark black hair is gone. I know I needed to get it cut, but I'm still sad. Hes still a cutie though.

Blizzard(s) 2010
So we got SLAMMED the week of Feb 5-11th with snow. The first storm was Fri-Sat night and we got about 30in. 30 INCHES! We were out of power all day Saturday from 4am-9pm, which made me worry about Jonah being cold, so when it came on at 9pm I was SO relieved, it had started to get really cold in the house throughout the day . It took the plow 3 days, till Tuesday night, to come down our street, by then the fun had warn off and we really wanted to be able to leave our neighborhood. Our neighbors and we got so tired of waiting for the plow, we basically shoveled and snow blowed our way out to the main road, so we could go stock up on some items before the next storm hit.

We got plowed just in time for the 2nd storm to start Wednesday afternoon, which dropped another 18 inches. Being from Florida, its obvious for me to say I've never seen so much snow, but for Jon to say it, living his whole life here and even my neighbors, who have been in their house for 47 years, to say this is the worst they've seen is amazing. We spent a lot of time snow blowing our long driveway and snow blowing for some of our elderly neighbors, because that is really just too much snow to try and shovel when you're in your 70s!
So here are some photos, which, of course, don't do justice for just how much snow it really was and what storms they were! 2 blizzards in 1 week, just craziness. Jonah handled it well and got to see it first hand, although he won't remember it :)
Jon, tackling the first storm, 25in and falling.
Yes, those are our cars.
Checking out the damage.
Taller than my 70lb dog.
Almost as tall as my 100 lb dog!
Neighbors house, so much snow of the roof it 'avalanching' off.
Out our back door, Jon shoveled it so the dogs could get out.
Our house from the driveway.
Our the front door, during the 2nd blizzard.

Baby Mohawk...still a ton of hair!
Jonah's still got a TON of hair. The hair he was born with on top never fell out, so its just been growing and growing. It got thin on the back, but never totally fell out. Its getting so long now and hes so 'pretty' that some people mistake him for a girl. But hes just too young for a haircut yet! We might have to go earlier then the traditional 1 year mark for a haircut, but I'm going to try to go as long as I can.
Jon was having fun with his hair during a recent bath time...the baby mohawk is always a classic.
Eat your nose!
Jonah has been doing this for awhile and its the funniest thing..he LOVES to bite noses. I don't know if its his way of giving 'kisses' or if it just feels good on his teeth, but he will grab your face and pull you in for a big bite. Now that he has teeth we've had to extract ourselves from the death grip, because it hurts!! But OMG..is it so funny. My parents were here a few weeks ago and we got a couple of pics of him doing it to them, they just thought it was the funniest and laughed and laughed. I call it getting slimed, because a lot of slobber is involved.
Favorite outfits
As Jonah grows he gets outfits from GiGi and Aunt Tara and Uncle Stephen etc. Some just become my absolute favorites and I know I'll be sad when he outgrows them..here are a couple.
The first one is a fleece vest. I mean, seriously, who thought that up, he is SO stinkin' cute! This was a Christmas gift from GiGi.
This next outfit was from Aunt Tara for Christmas, I love that the sleeves and socks match. Its just the cutest. I really like the one piece outfits.
I didn't realize until I was posting this that he has a big drool string hanging on his chin..he just got his 4th tooth! Crazy! Hes not even 7mos in these pics yet.

Crazy sleeper
Jonah is moving around a lot these days. We've caught him in all kinds of different sleeping positions. The 1st picture is his new favorite, side sleeping. Often he'll go to sleep on his back and at some point, wake up, roll around and over to his side and fall back asleep.
