Jonah's First Thanksgiving

Jonah's first Thanksgiving! We went to the in-laws, ('mom mom' and 'pop pop')'s house. It was just the 5 of us and then Aunt Aleza came a bit later. Not a big crowd this year, because visits had been made earlier in the year, so we're saving up for Christmas time. I haven't started Jonah on solids yet, so he just got to look at all the really good food. We had a great time.

The Feast!

Tummy time, practicing so we can learn to roll over!

Favorite Shirt

Jonah sitting in the bumbo wearing his favorite shirt (he told me so).

Jumperoo

We registered for the Einstein jumper when I was pregnant and actually ended up taking it back and getting the Fisher Price Jumperoo after talking to my friend (thanks Kirsten!) and reading some reviews. The last few weeks we've felt Jonah has had good enough head control to sit in it. Its hilarious..hes can't even touch the ground, so we' ve put our wedding album under him so his feet will touch.
The more hes been in it the more he seems to enjoy it. I really like this one, because it doesn't take much to get the jumping going.

Bubba needs love

So Bubba, our big fat lover boy cat, was apparently in need of some attention because he came looking for it from Jonah. You know the cat is desperate when they will sacrifice fists full of their fur for some petting.

Bathtime

One of my favorite things is to give Jonah a bath. He loves the little whale cup that came with his tub and is totally fascinated when I let the water run out of the cup (its like a colander) onto his belly. He will hold his hands up under the water and feel it, which I think is so cool at not yet 5 months old. I, of course, think he is the most perfect little naked baby ever.

Luckily the bubbles were in a strategic location for his delicate sensibilities. :)

Dad strikes again: bathtime hair dos v.2

Looking cute on the play mat

I am just so in love with this little person, look how cute he looks on his play mat in his little stripped wool pants! Hes not rolling over yet, little bugger, but hes getting closer.

Lovin the bumbo tray

I like the bumbo chair, but if Jonah doesn't have something to focus on he just sort of slumps over and looks uncomfortable. So my friend suggested I get the bumbo tray, which is great because I can put toys on it and he sits up to play with them. He totally loves the ones that suction on the table.

Halloween

Jonah didn't get to go trick or treating, obviously, he doesn't even have teeth! But he did get to dress up. How can you not partake of a holiday where you can torture your children and have photos to embarrass them with later?
