Now that Jonah is crawling and grabbing and into everything, I try and give the dogs lots of space and make sure he isn't all over them. But every time I sit Jonah down to watch his baby signing dvd, Indy insists on lying right next to him, its too funny. I try and get him to lie on his bed or in his crate, but he wants to be right there. Little buddies already.

The "half hitch" crawl
So Jonah has figured out how to get around, a little unconventionally ;) Although my mother-in-law disagrees, I believe this is a Posner gene. This would be grandbaby #3 on the Posner side that crawls this way. I love it!

The march towards independence continues!
First unassisted stand-up!
Jonah was hanging out on the floor with a few toys today, but apparently what he really wanted was daddy's massage stick with the rollers on it. That was sitting on the footstool. Daddy glanced up at Jonah, then did a double take - he was STANDING there, happy to have the roller stick in his hand! We tried to get some video of a stand up, but alas, photographic evidence will have to suffice for now....First mountain bike race
I did my first mountain bike race, since becoming pregnant with Jonah, so this was Jonah's first mountain bike race too!
It was right around the corner at the park I always ride. I raced the expert category, so I had to do 3 laps, which was about 25 miles. Lets just say drug-free child birth was less painful and I'm actually not even kidding. My goal was to finish and I did, so I was happy about that. It did make me realize just how out of shape you get in 18 months! yikes.

Jonah's First Passover & Easter
This year we celebrated Passover with Jon's family at their friend's Joe and Leora's house. It was a good time with lots of Kosher wine and good food. Jonah even had his own little seat at the table, but no wine for him :) He was also visited by the Easter Bunny! He got organic baby food and a big blue ball in his basket this year. He was more thrilled about the ball than the food, of course :)
